DPE Coordinator made a presentation at the Radio Lesotho on how the organisation will conduct the 100 days of new government office engagement amidst COVID-19 restrictions. This follows change of government without necessity of elections, but which similarly had new hopes and new promises. Few weeks ago, the Prime Minister announced the plan of action for the government in the remaining period before elections. Despite challenges of COVID-19 and limited time DPE will stick to its public participation culture (see more) and facilitate that citizens voices are presented to the government.
The public reaction was good and some of the expressions (see more) demonstrated that DPE was spot-on. This is a very good feedback. The Coordinator will take rounds to different radio stations to conscientise people about this initiative.
