DPE CONTINUES WITH YOUTH MOBILISATION IN FIVE DISTRICTS ON RE-REGISTRATION

Development for Peace Education (DPE) hosted horse racing in mobilisation of youth registration and re-registration in support of what Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) initiative of cleaning the voters roll. The activity brought more than twenty villages together in one place with the aim of trying to cover more youth to encourage them to participate in civic education and people showed up in large number. 

Apart from that DPE visited different churches in Moyeni and Mohale’s Hoek with IEC crew with the same aim, therefore DPE continues with other activities that include football tournaments, horse racing, community theatre and church visits in the next two months throughout in the five districts which are also meant to mobilise young people to participate in the ongoing process of re-registration.

DPE is doing this work through the support of European Partnership for Democracy and  European Union for the four months
