DPE is taking the Peace education to the next level on 24thOctober 2025. Tomorrow there will be a breakfast meeting with the Ministry of Education’s top officials to discuss the possible institutionalization of Peace Education.
This is a follow-up meeting with the one previously held, where the Ministry was very appreciative. However, there was nothing that was implemented. This meeting is aimed at encouraging the official recognition of the idea and putting it into practice.
This activity is done jointly with HWPL, a long-time DPE partner. These two organizations were implementing Peace Education training for the teachers in the area where DPE is working. The certificate-giving ceremony will follow this event, where 144 teachers will receive certificates. This is also going to be communicated to the Ministry of Education in the coming breakfast meeting.
