Development for Peace Education-DPE in collaboration with Denmark Lesotho Network-DLN ,held and facilitated a training workshop on Community Library users on the use of social media platforms, online awareness appreciation, and critical use of radio and newspaper for citizen’s advocacy in Khoelenya Community Library- Mohale’s Hoek on the 9th and 10th June 2026.
The workshop engaged several activities such as the procurement and installation of participation devices and voting soft wares. The workshop will continue in the other 7 remaining Community Libraries within this second quarter of 2026. The workshops were implemented by the IT personnel together with the Communication officer.
Khoelenya Community Library workshop was graced by the presence of the DPE Coordinator, Community Animator, Library Committee members, CBO’s in Khoelenya and a large number of youth who provided their skills and knowledge on technology devices and members of the community.
